Your paper must show how and wherethe references are used in your paper with the use of citations. Your writingmust be well supported by your research. Your paper may contain few, if anydirect quotes. It is best to write in your own words and to cite indirectly.Your Turnitin Score must be no more than 20%. Any Turnitin Score over 30% willbe reviewed carefully and may be graded with a significant loss of points or a0 depending on the interpretation of the TII report.
Each student will prepare a research paper on a Military Transition or anothersimilar issue of his or her choice. However, regardless of the studentpreference, the professor must approve the topic beforehand. Some examples of topics are as follows:
- Discuss fully the different facets of Military Retirement or Separation. Whatis most important? What do you think will become more important over the nexttwo decades?
- Describe fully the role of the family in military retirement.
- Describe the major types of relationships that exist today in militaryfamilies and problems associated with the military family.
- How does education interact in the choice of when a veteran retires?
- Identify some of the unique challenges that military families face and waysto address these challengesThese are only examples and other topics may be selected based on militarylife or your future career in working with military families.
