Agave Xylonacantha is best known to be a strange looking succulent. As the plant matures expect it to reach up to 30 cm (12″) tall and around 1.8 m (6ft) in diameter. The plants main feature are the dark green fleshy leaves with white teeth edges. When the plant produces flowers expect them to be green to pale yellow only appearing in summer.
Steps to Starting Seeds:
Step #1: Prepare moistened soil. You will likely have your best success growing your own seeds in seedling soil.
Step #2: Place soil into cells of tray.
Step #3: Place 2-3 seeds into each cell.
Step #4: Allow the seeds to grow.
Step #5: Remove all but one of the seedlings in each cell.
