RARE VIBRANT JACOBEAN SAMPLER CROSS STITCH KIT LINDA HILL GRIFFITH

Artist Linda Hill Griffith is best known as an illustrator of children’s books, but her creative work can also be seen in this colorful Jacobean counted cross stitch sampler. With its border of pink and yellow flowers, it shows two happy couples standing outside a house and includes the advice to “Count your life by smiles not years.” Fluffy white sheep and four black-and-white cows add the perfect finishing touch to the modern twist on a classic sampler design.
