This is an ORIGINAL SET OF FOUR (4) DOOR PANELS / MOVIE POSTERS - NOT REPRODUCTIONS ! They were created for use in a theatre to promote the re-release engagement of this Motion Picture in 1975!

These approx. 19 1/2 x 60" (each) Movie Items:

SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS ~ U.S. Door Panels -~ WALT DISNEY ~ Original Release: 1937 / This Re-Release: 1975

These RARE 6 foot WALT DISNEY ANIMATION DOOR PANEL POSTERS (originally designed to be fitted into the glass windows of the theatre lobby's front doors and, unlike regular posters, were produced in VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES) are in excellent / fine condition with minor edge and surface wear. They have always been ROLLED - NEVER FOLDED and appear unused. With bright, unfaded colors and sharp images, they're printed on glossy paper stock. All door panels have an angled tear at the bottom left edge which apparently occurred when then were rolled together, with no paper loss (see accompanying photos). The tears vary in length, have been arrested on the back with a small piece of archival tape, and are described below:

SNOW WHITE AND THE PRINCE: An approx. 5" angled tear at bottom left and an approx. 2" horizontal tear at the upper right edge, in the blue sky. Image includes bluebirds, squirrels and a rabbit.

THE EVIL QUEEN / WITCH: An approx. 3" angled tear at bottom left ; an approx. 1/4 x 1/16" dot of discoloration on the right side, in white robe, below her hand ; two creases at the bottom left corner partly in the logo. Image shows both personas of the witch as ugly, dangling an apple, and beautiful, holding a case decorated with a dagger-pierced heart.

THE SEVEN DWARFS: An approx. 3" angled tear at the bottom left. Image shows great close-ups of all seven dwarfs.

THE CASTLE: An approx. 3" angled tear at bottom left. Image shows the Prince's castle and THE PRINCE is seen on horseback, cradling SNOW WHITE in his arms as he travels the twisting path to the castle.

Minimal text at the bottom of the unnumbered panels reads:

"Walt Disney Company"

and

"Litho USA Technicolor"

The accompanying photo shows these actual items. There is some shadowing on the bottom areas of the accompanying photos that is not on the actual posters, which is consistently bright from top to bottom. Additional and / or larger photos are usually available by email request, with 24 hours notice. Additional photos are included to show detail close-ups of these same items. Some online photo services may impose their logo at the bottom righthand corner which doesn't appear on the actual item.

There may be clips visible in the photos, variously at the four corners and the top and/or bottom center edges. These are not a flaw in or a part of this item.
