Requires driving 100 miles before it adapts to the computer system or it can be programmed specific by providing the year, make, model, engine upon ordering.
Takes care of leaning ALL computer sensors for HHO specific use with one enhancer (EFIE) chip
Like with any of the other Volo chips this cannot be used if any other enhancers are on the engine. They need to be removed
The chip will adapt to the vehicle's computer system after driving 100 miles. Must be OBDII computer system, vehicles from 1996 common to USA makes
The VP12 is a 20MHz Microcontroller. It utilizes its high speed serial input/output to communicate directly with the ECU through the OBD-II port wiring
When using HHO as a fuel supplement, the chip will adjust fuel delivery and timing to optimize efficiency
Recommended modifications :
K&N or equivalent non-restrictive intake combined with a
(Oxyhydrogen) hydrogen generator system for optimum mileage and performance
Compatible with factory equipped Turbo/Superchargers, diesel engines, Flex-Fuel, & HHO supplemental hydrogen generator applications. It is NOT compatible with hybrid engine options, propane, or natural-gas
The VP12 comes with 4 tap-in connectors which you connect to 4 wires behind the face of the vehicles OBD-2 port. Instructions are included on which to connect to. This unit is NOT plug and play like the VP15
