This scarf is a joy. The dreamy theme is perhaps happiness or pleasure; the little things we remember with a contented smile. The photos will explain better. Click on each one to enlarge them.
The scenes are a central clock with Roman numerals, a seated old man playing an accordian, a woman with a dog, a man juggling balls, a woman playing a harp, a springing cat, a running couple, a man playing a violin, perhaps to accompany the woman in a backless dress beside him, then a woman with a large ball. The man in the moon oversees it all.
All the colors are are soft sherbet pastels. The fabric is chiffon (can't tell if it is synthetic or silk) and the hem is machine button hole stitched. No tags or signatures but this is a really nice scarf. It would be great for the winter holiday cruise or for any warm season or warm climate wear. It is large enough to wear as a shawl. (36 inches square)
Condition looks unused. No problems at all. The pale colored photos are accurate. I darkened a few pics to highlight the design.
