ELGIN SPORTSMAN Shockmaster 29mm Durapower GP Bezel With Display Box

Classic and beautiful looking vintage Elgin Sportsman Shockmaster manual wind men's watch. This is a store display unit, Old Stock but does show wear on crystal and case. Bezel on case is gold plated. Band is super-flex-let 16mm wide. Dial has a four quadrant pinstripe machined design that ever so slightly curves upward towards the minute and hour hands, a real sight to see. Elgin and Shockmaster are painted on dial. Hour markers are applied in gold color, 12-2-4-8-10 numerals and five boxes and two rhombus applied markers for 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock. Case shape is square and the large curved mineral crystal curves from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock and is a serious curve. Crown is push-pull and seconds hand is at the 6 o'clock position. Snapback caseback does display "waterproof" and "resistant to shock-dust and magnetism." Plastic display box does have some surface scratches and marks. Watch dimensions are 29mm wide, 40mm from curved lug to curved lug and 16mm lug width. Height is 12mm. Band fits my 7 inch wrist snuggly, larger wrists will start to feel the band flex so keep that in mind before purchasing. xx-20220103-00030
