Dior Homme Intense is a stylish and sophisticated, successful successor to Dior Homme from 2005 and Dior Homme Cologne from 2007. The composition has floral and woody accords, just like its predecessors. Dior Homme Intense is a warmer and more seductive version built around the powdery tones of the iris as the original, with added more intense and lasting tones. The perfume was created by Francois Demanchy. In 2011 the fragrance was reissued with minor changes in its composition. The aroma opens with fragrant sage, lavender and bergamot. At the heart, the powdery accord of the iris is enhanced by the subtle accents of amber, cocoa and hibiscus seeds. The oriental base combines leather, Indonesian patchouli, Haitian vetiver and Virginia cedar, creating a masculine and refined scent of precious wood. Top notes: bergamot, lavender, sage Middle notes: amber, iris, cocoa, hibiscus seeds Base notes: cedar, patchouli, vetiver, leather Launched in 2007!
