Jiaogulan ( Gynostemma pentaphyllum) is a herb in China.Since 1406 it helps Chinese to tide over many crop failures as food. Since 1990 it becames a kind of wellness tea due to its benefits for people both in China and other countries.According to research reports by different Chinese researchers since 1980, Gypenosides GP and Gynostemma pentaphyllum polysaccharides can provide powerful metabolism support ,detox support and cell protection to reduce or remove the side effects of high blood fat , high blood sugar , heavy metals, free radicals,bad cholesterol , alcohol and nicotine.
