Grafton China Crested Ware Jug, Porcelain Souvenir, England
This souvenir crested ware jug was made by Grafton China and is also marked, "E. A. J. & Sons/ England". It's a model of a vessel found during excavations in London and is marked as such on the bottom, along with the number 208. The crest is for the "Ancient Arms of Bedford" and features an eagle embracing a fortified castle. Made of fine porcelain with gold trim on the rim (worn). The jug measures 2 7/8 inches in height. In very good vintage condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. Crested ware was produced from the 1880's through 1939.
