Clive Christian 1872 Men is one of the first fragrances released under the Clive Christian label. This is a classic perfume from 1872, recreated according to old recipes, released at that time by Crown Perfumery, the rights to which now belong to Clive Christian. The famous perfumer Geza Schoen was engaged in recreating and giving the composition actual, modern features. As a result of his inspired work, an expressive, masculine, at the same time fresh and deep, fougere-citrus aroma turned out. Perfume 1872 Men is a noble composition enclosed in a magnificent dark green bottle topped with a golden British crown.
The composition is amazingly harmoniously intertwined with the initial tones of spice pepper and nutmeg, bitter galbanum, rosemary and lavender combined with juicy citrus accents of lime, bergamot, mandarin and grapefruit. Fruity notes of pineapple and peach add charm and non-triviality. In the "heart" of the bouquet there are chords of jasmine, bright marigolds, cyclamen and freesia, as well as clary sage. The base that completes the fragrance is rich and saturated, it merges shades of labdanum and warm amber, musk and olibanum, earthy patchouli and majestic cedar. Clive Christian 1872 Men is a masterpiece that came to us from the 17th century, a truly royal fragrance with a complex composition, an interesting history and a unique sound.
