America's Tennis Book, by Curtis W. Casewit. Scribner's Sons, hardcover, 1975.The first tennis book to focus on little-known aspects of the sport, such as possible injuries, tennis resorts and hotels, clinics, etiquette, careers, and much more. Solid how-to-play descriptions, accompanied by frame-by-frame b/w photographs, will be useful even today. Technique, equipment, rules, strategy, are all here in depth. Condition: Good. Former library book, although does not appear to have been damaged except for where the library jacket was removed and left tape behind, as well as an area where the hardcover's paper was slightly peeled (please see picture). Title page is stamped 'Tacoma Public Library' and written on with pencil. Last page (blank) was removed from book. Remaining pages are clean and intact, bright and tight.
