Shasta 'Ice Cream Dream'. Like little scoops of ice cream, this Shasta Daisy will charm you as it comes into focus in early to midsummer. Intense yellow buds open cream and expand to be near white, fully double, pom-pom-like flowers with small yellow centers. This plant is a wonderful hardy perennial (it comes back each year). Well draining soil and moderate fertilization are the keys to success. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering. A clump forming plant that produces an abundance of blossoms, the flowers are great additions to fresh cut bouquets. A great plant for the butterflies. Sometimes referred to as Leucanthemum or Chrysanthemum.. Our plants are vigorous hybrids not inferior seedlings. All of our plants are of blooming age.
