Description

This auction is for one (1) Olea Europaea - 'Arbequina' olive tree. This is a live plant. This ancient tree has been cultivated for thousands of years, prized for it fruit and foliage. The Arbequina variety is among the most cold and drought tolerant varieties with medium fruit well suited to pickling and oils. The grey-green foliage provides an excellent contrasting backdrop in the garden. Commonly used for canning and oils.

Cultivation

Plant in full sun and well draining soil. Drought and heat tolerant once established. More upright habit with medium size fruit. Height 20-25', width 12-14' and can be pruned to desired height and shape. Moderate growth rate of 1-2' per year. Prolific bearer. Easy to grow, drought tolerant. Zone 8-11 outdoors and 4-11 on patios.

These 5" plants come in 2.5" x 2.5" x 2.5" deep pots.
