Angelina Jolie is the new face of Guerlain and the new women's fragrance Mon Guerlain. The Hollywood star is the inspiration for the composition - as always Guerlain create their fragrances with hints of a woman. We create perfumes for women that we admire, says Jacques Guerlain, creator of fragrances such as Shalimar and Mitsouko. In 2017, his successor, Thierry Wasser, Guerlain's master perfumer, chose Angelina as the woman behind Mon Guerlain. The actress and UN ambassador carefully chooses her new advertising role - traditionally her fee will be donated to charity.
But Angelina also chose Guerlain because of her childhood memories when her mother used the brand's powder. The notes of violets and rose remain in the star's mind and forever connect her with Guerlain. The first visions of Mon Guerlain with Angelina Jolie are already a fact - captivating black and white shots by photographer Tom Munro. With intoxicating notes of vanilla, jasmine and lavender, the new spring fragrance is a fresh oriental composition.
