The main functions collected in Luminar 3 are sharpened exclusively for photo processing.

Having opened the program, the user will find in it over 40 filters that have many settings and are divided into profile groups. Working with color, HDR, gradients, noise, sharpness - these settings allow you to significantly transform a photo in a matter of minutes.

The editor includes about 100 presets. A preset is, in principle, the same filter only with ready-made settings. Given their number, most users will have enough of all this wealth for all occasions. And they are also broken down into type groups.

Luminar includes the most popular photography tools: crop, clone (stamp), masking brushes, eraser.

The developers also took care of such a convenient thing as layers. Of course, they are not as functional in comparison with the same Photoshop, but their capabilities will be quite enough for an ordinary amateur photographer.

The RAW engine is very well developed. High speed, excellent quality and the ability to correct color and lens distortions bring this module to an almost professional level.

Luminar will soon be equipped with a Lightroom-enabled photo cataloger. It is also planned that the program will be able to fully integrate into Photoshop as a plug-in.

New LUT (Lookup Table) settings have been introduced into the application. This allows Lightroom enthusiasts to convert custom presets to LUTs for later use in Luminar.
