A nice vintage porcelain or bone china figurine of a lady standing wearing a beautiful blue gown sprigged with pink and white flowers and having pink decoration along the edge of the dress' neckline. She also has flowers in her hair and a blue bonnet and she carries a bouquet of pink roses. She is standing with her arms to her side one holding her dress while the other is holding a bouquet of flowers. Her head tilted to the right and her dress has white short sleeves that only cover her shoulders. She has red cheeks and lips and brown hair. This is a piece of hand painted and nicely crafted bone china. The piece is titled "The Bridesmaid" and is known to be the creation of the Artist Peggy Davies. Origin: England. Size: It is ~5 1/4" high, with the base being by 3 3/4" by ~ 3 3/4". Maker: Royal Doulton, Doulton & Co., Limited Marks: Has the Royal Doulton mark and is also marked "The Bridesmaid; NH 2196; Corp 1959" and has additional numbers below it all. Condition: The piece is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks, crazing or repairs.
