These "pencil" beans are super tender, thin, and without fibrous beans that taste great any way you cook. It looks great, and really pretty when harvested in all three bean colors. The most attractive mix of dwarf French beans include the sister varieties Purple Teepee, Golden Teepee and Green Teepee, with distinctive purple, golden, and dark green beans. If sown every 40-50 days throughout the spring and summer, this mixture will yield a steady, uninterrupted crop of tender beans until frost. Super productive type of shrub, 45 cm (18 ") tall, producing straight, even pods, 15 cm (6") long, ripening 60 days after germination. Choose them young, for neat, delicate pods, thus stimulating further flowering and fruiting of plants. Produces an extremely high yield over a long season - exactly what you want for a home garden.
