Enterol 250mg N20 capsules
Enterol 250mg used freeze dried Saccharomyces boulardii in an amount of 250mg in each capsule. These yeasts have anti-diarrheal activity. The preparation is referred to as a "natural substitute for the intestinal flora", because it helps to restore the balance during periods of transient disturbance.
Indications:
Enterol 250mg is indicated for the treatment of acute diarrheal infections, as well as for preventive measures in antibiotic diarrhea, enteric diarrhea, traveler's diarrhea. Also suitable for recurrent diarrhea caused by Clostridium difficile infection (adjunctive to vancomycin or metronidazole treatment).
How to take
Take orally. Capsules with water (about one glass). Dosage: acute diarrhea infectious - 1-2 capsules per day, used for a week; antibiotic diarrhea - 1-2 capsules a day, used during and after antibiotic therapy; diarrhea caused by C. difficile infection - 4 capsules per day, up to 4 weeks; diarrhea occurring in enteral nutrition - 1-2 capsules a day; traveler's diarrhea - 1-4 capsules a day, use up to 1 week. In children under the age of 6, only the contents of the capsule should be given (dissolved in the diet or in a small amount of the sweetened drink), because there is a risk of choking with the capsule.
Composition:
Active substance: Saccharomyces bouldardii freeze dried yeast CNCM I-745. One capsule contains 250 mg of yeast and auxiliary substances: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate; components of the gelatin capsule: gelatin, titanium dioxide.
