This great-looking / RARE-SIZE action documentary poster (from the film that chronicled famed adventurer THOR HEYERDAHL's attempt to cross the Atlantic in a papyrus boat, a follow-up to KON TIKI ) is in Excellent condition, with very minor edge and surface wear. It has always been ROLLED or stored flat - NEVER FOLDED. With bright colors and sharp images, it's printed on heavy glossy poster stock.

The poster's gorgeous, brilliantly-colored artwork pictures crew members struggling to control their Papyrus boat and its billowing sail as it tosses in the violent blue-green ocean and sharks surround them. One SHARK seems posed purposely to mimic the image of another then-current blockbuster movie (also from UNIVERSAL PICTURES): JAWS . With four additional insert images showing THOR HEYERDAHL, his crew, scuba divers and a monkey. With an exciting, stylized title logo.
