Description

PUMPKIN Butternut squash has smooth textured orange flesh, which has excellent nutty flavor. This prized heirloom pumpkin variety and the fruit grows up to 25cm or 2kg. Orange skin and thick, cylindrical neck. This variety has a small seed cavity which means you can enjoy more of the lovely yellow flesh. The flavor is sweet and nutty and just delicious. Butternuts yield well and store longer than other pumpkins in cool dry conditions (up to a year) and is excellent for baking. Ready in about 85 days after sowing.
