MacroBalans is CE medical device. MacroBalans contains macrogol powder for the treatment of a short or longer period of constipation in adults and children. Macrogol is safe to use: it is an inert water absorbing substance, which passes through the gut without being absorbed into the body.
When macrogol is dissolved in a glass of water, it binds only the water consumed and retains it to the bowel. Macrogol does not absorb any fluid from the body nor the intestine. When the water content and volume of the stools increases in the bowel, it softens hard stools and relieves defecation without pain.
USAGE
Treatment of short-term constipation, duration 14 days. The treatment can be repeated if necessary. Read carefully package information leaflet before use.
DOSAGE
Adults and children over 8 years:
1 sachet of powder mixed with a glass of water (2 dl), juice or cold coffee or tea 1-2 times a day. Mix the solution well and drink the clear solution. The dose can be taken at any time of the day.
If you are pregnant or breast feeding, use only according to the doctor’s instructions.
