Concerned citizens volunteer to clean gutters in Osu-Accra.

Last Saturday on my way out, I met these men cleaning the gutters, near Mission Street in Osu. I stopped to ask them if they worked for Accra Metropolitan Area (A.M.A.) or Korle-Klottey Municipal Assembly (K.O.K.M.A.) or Jekora Ventures, or any of the institutions entrusted with the cleaning of our community. They said NO to all the above. And that, they were "Just Concerned-Citizens" living in the area.
Now we all know the situation with our gutters and streets, so i thought it honourable that these men will take time out on a bright-sunny Saturday like this, to do this community service. I said a BIG "Thank You" to them and went on.
So, please help me do the same when you see them around and don't forget to Help with the effort. You know what they say - "Brighten the corner, where you are".
