Aloinopsis rubrolineata Family: Aizoaceae. An attractive little clumping mesemb with tongue shaped leaves and tuberous roots. Leaves are fleshy, greenish brown with small dots. The tuberous roots can be raised when the plant matures. They aren't as large and thick as A. schooneesii but are still nice. Flowers are yellow and produced in the fall and winter. Easy to grow. It is a winter grower so give it more moisture in the cooler months and hold back on the water in the summer. Readily forms clumps. Protect from frost.
