Ferocactus macrodiscus Family: Cactaceae. A smaller barrel cactus from Mexico that usually grows wider than tall. The skin is blue-green and it is covered in stout pink and yellow spines. Flowers are pink. Mature plants are roughly 1' diameter. Takes normal cactus care. Protect from frost (it isn't as frost tolerant as the better known Ferocactus species).
