 Parodia magnifica Family: Cactaceae. Also known as Notocactus magnificus. An attractive globular cactus with prominent ribs. The golden spines are only on the ribs. This makes it look a lot like a green Uebelmannia. Stays small and will clump in time. Produces yellow flowers in summer. Requires general cactus care. Protect from frost.
