Ralph Moody continues the story started in the book Little Britches. In this volume, he is told by his doctor at 19 that he had 6 months to live. So as not to burden his parents, he leaves home and tries to make it on his own.
The road is tough in a post WW I depression and he has trouble making ends meet. He winds up on the point of starvation in Arizona. As the road gets tougher so does Ralph, finally finding a job as a trick rider for a Hollywood film crew and eventually getting into sculpting.
Back of DJ lists some of Ralph Moody's other books with endorsements from several Prominent Newspapers & Authors! A Fantastic story to add to any library!
