MASK DESCRIPTION: *High quality cloth masks with hand-sewn nose wire, filter pocket for HEPA filter, and Elastic Ear Loops* I made the three-layer masks using the tight woven (400-1000 thread count) cotton fabrics. One of the layers is a filter pocket to insert a HEPA filter for additional protection. I also carefully hand-sewn a nose wire onto each mask so it stays snugly and comfortably on your nose and perfectly close gap between nose and cheeks preventing fog on your eyeglasses. I made these masks with LOVE and CARE!
HEPA FILTERS: They are made from a melt-blown polypropylene material that offer the highest level of protection and filtration available. They do not contain fiberglass! They are made from same materials used to make N95 masks.
MASKS CARE: Remove filters from the cloth masks prior to washing. Cotton masks should be washed in cold water with laundry detergent and completely dried in a dryer. Silk masks should be hand-washed in warm water with a mild detergent and hung to dry in the sun. Iron silk masks on the inside (the cotton liners side), if needed. HEPA filters should be hung to refresh in the sun. Do not wash or wet the filters as this will reduce their effectiveness. Filters can be reused if treated properly.
MASK SIZE: There are two adult size masks: Regular size for face measurement between 11 - 12 inches, and XL size for face measurement that is greater than 13 inches. There are two child size masks: 3-6 year old and 6-10 years old. Child over 10 years old can wear the regular size.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FACE/MASK SIZE: Please wear your mask and measure along the top of your mask by starting from the top right ear (where the elastic sits), over the middle/bridge of the nose (where the mask sits) and to the top left ear (where the elastic sits). If the measurement is less than 12 inches, you need an adult Regular size. If the measurement is greater than 13 inches, you need an adult XL size.
NOTE: All masks have zip ties for shortening the elastic ear loops, if needed.
