TOTAL Nevastane XS 80 is a low temperature food grade grease with improved extreme pressure properties based on a calcium sulfonate complex.

Application

NEVASTANE XS 80 is a multipurpose heavy duty grease based on a complex of calcium sulfonate and a synthetic base oil, designed primarily for use at very low temperatures and / or high loads.
NEVASTANE XS 80 is a multipurpose grease with improved extreme pressure properties, recommended for use in food processing equipment, as well as in related areas operating under difficult conditions (high loads, high temperatures, water, dust).
NEVASTANE XS 80 is perfect for use in pellet presses in the feed industry (animal feed, sugar beet): KAHL, PROMILL, CPM, UMT, VAN AARSEN…).
When using, avoid contamination of the grease with dust and / or dirt. It is preferable to use a pneumatic pump lubrication system or use cartridges.

Benefits

With its complex formula and high level of properties, NEVASTANE XS 80 meets the most stringent industrial requirements.
Provides long equipment life while reducing the risk of product contamination in accordance with HACCP.
Excellent thermal stability. Recovers its original structure after cooling to room temperature.
High resistance to stress due to its naturally high extreme pressure and antiwear properties.
Excellent resistance to water, the grease does not lose its consistency when exposed to copious amounts of water. Resistant to acids and alkalis.
Excellent antioxidant and anticorrosive properties due to the nature of calcium sulfonates, also in the presence of salt water.
