Vegetable Seeds: About 100 Non-GMO Hickory King Corn seeds. Iowa grown huge seeds for fresh sweet corn, roasting corn or dried for cornmeal. Called Bingo Corn because the kernels are so huge they were used as Bingo chips on rural USA farms back in the nineteenth century.

With its very large yellow kernels, Hickory King is a great roasting corn. It is also used for grits, cornmeal, and tortillas. It is especially good for hominy since the skins are easily removed by soaking. Excellent for roasting, grits, cornmeal, and corn nuts. Hickory king has a very high leafy green matter which makes it perfect for silage.
Hickory King produces plants that are 12 feet tall. Each stalk produces two very large ears. Remember these plants grow BIG and produce two LARGE ears. Bone meal will encourage a vigorous root system and help stem strength. Its tight husks help keep out corn worms, and it was known as "bingo corn" in the South since the kernels are so big they were actually used as bingo chips!
There are many uses for dent corns like: Hominy, masa harina (think tamales), Posole, Corn Bread, Corn Muffins, Hush Puppies, Corn Fritters, Grits, and Corn Soup.
