INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
For mounting gaskets, permanently formed
in working position
1. Remove remnants of old parts from the assembly
surface. For these purposes, you can use

excluding plastics and painted
surfaces.
2. For best results, you must
clean and dry surfaces with
solvent free of sediment, for example with
with Brake and Parts Cleaner
Permatex
Brake and Parts Cleaner.
3. Cut the cap to get the hole
required diameter - from 0.15875 cm (1/16
in) to 0.635 cm (1/4 in). Most convenient and
a 0.3175 cm diameter hole is often used
(1/8 inch).
4. Remove the cap, pierce the safety
the valve on the neck of the tube or cartridge and put on
cap with pre-formed
hole of the required diameter.
5. Apply gasket continuously and evenly
a layer on one of the surfaces, primarily along the inner perimeter of the gasket being formed,

6. Immediately mount the parts while

wet. Fasten or tighten the parts (in

For sealing conventional gaskets
1. Repeat steps 1 - 4 as described above.
2. Apply silicone to one of the sealed
surfaces.
3. Place the gasket on the silicone layer.
4. Apply a thin layer of silicone to the top
gasket surfaces.
5. Immediately remove excess silicone.
