People think their item is rare because they do not do a proper search. I believe I can honestly say this is truly rare. I dare you to search eCRATER or Google for Treasure Craft faux wood hexagon and see if you find more than one or items over the whole internet. Treasure Craft has been around for decades, and was so popular that there are many of their products still out there. Some designs were not as well sold, such as this one in particular. That means they are more rare than the ones with mushrooms and faces on them. I don't know why the mushrooms were so popular, but they were. Unusual items are so hard to find that collectors seek them out and jump on the purchase. That is why these salt and pepper shakers are so desirable. This is a ceramic set of hexagonal shaped faux wood finish Salt and Pepper Shakers, as you can see the shape in the pictures, and can also be used for Spices or display. You won't find many of these examples of shakers. These would be great to display with the rest of your kitchenware or kitch collection. They also pair up with a Treasure Craft cookie jar that is just as rare to find, and perhaps more kitchen set pieces such as coffee and sugar jars. They are 3 1/4" Tall, see the dollar for reference, and seem very durable with their finish and rubber stoppers on the bottom. If you look carefully at the pictures, you'll see a few little spots that may have been a flaw when painting. There is also something weird sticking out on one side like another flaw in production, as it looks like the original glazing goes over it. You can see the name in the maker's mark on the bottom.
