Frilly double blossoms in a wide range of stunning colors make this a unique variety. Shades of red, pink, yellow and gold are especially pretty planted en masse. California poppies have silky cup-shaped flowers atop slender stems. Feathery foliage is gray-green, and gives a lovely contrast to the blooms. Will grow happily in nearly any well-drained soil. They’re drought tolerant, and reseed readily.
