This Tomahawk Viking HAMMER Hand Forged would look most impressive.
The blade is folded 20 times starting from 15 layers Of 1095 and 15N20 giving approximately 780 Layers in this awesome Pattern. Damascus Blade of the Hammer is the result of hours and hours of forging. Prestigious Damascus Steel Blade was given excellent heat treatment and Possess awesome Edge holding and retention with 60 Rockwell Hardness of the blade edge. awesome file work.
This Hammer is complete with a top quality extra-thick leather sheath. The leather sheath is totally hand tooled and sewn. Extra thick leather and strong stitching make this sheath robust which can withstand years of rough and tough use. The sheath can be worn on the belt.
HEAT TREATMENT:: Excellent heat treatment to blade | OIL QUENCHED
Scores a 58 HRC on the Rockwell Scale - This metal is tough and ready for work. Creating Damascus steel is still unknown to this day. The process has been lost for the past 500 years. Today, we fold several different sheets of steel together, dip in Ferric Chloride which eats away the metals at different rates to show the Damascus pattern.
