Mid-season grade. The bush is half-stemmed, slightly spreading, low. Fruits are long, cone-shaped, smooth, red, the flesh is thin, sharp in taste. The color of the fetus in technical ripeness is dark green, in biological - red. Productivity is average. Mid-season variety: from seedlings to technical ripeness, 112-118 days pass, to biological - 136-141. The Ukrainian Bitter variety was improved by the Ukrainian Research Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing through individual selection from local varieties.
