Universal 2K cold welding titanopolymer
An indispensable tool for eliminating defects (cracks, sinks, chips, dents) on parts made of ferrous metals, most types of plastics (excluding polyethylene and polyurethane), glass, ceramics and wood, bonding parts of these materials in various combinations, sealing joints, building and restoration of fragments of parts and fasteners. It has proven itself in the repair of the engine cooling jacket, oil pan, gas tank, oil pump, as well as gluing studs, sealing through defects in technical pipelines, etc. It has exceptional strength, water resistance, withstands vibrations and mechanical stresses in the temperature range from –60 ° С to + 130 ° С, and is characterized by stable operational characteristics.
Application
Thoroughly prepare the surface for gluing: remove scale and rust, sand it, degrease it (with acetone, mineral spirit or other solvent), dry it. Combine the components in equal volumes and mix until a mass is uniform in viscosity and color. The prepared composition is suitable for bonding for no more than 30 minutes at a temperature of 25 ± 10 ° C. Apply the composition on the surface of the parts to be glued (or restored) and fix it for the curing time (12 ÷ 24 hours). When filling large cracks, drill holes with a diameter of 1-3 mm in the corners of the crack and lay the composition in two layers according to the above modes, lay a patch of fiberglass, basalt or metal mesh between the layers.
IMPORTANT: If, as a result of storage for more than 24 months or sudden temperature fluctuations, the outer layer of cold welding hardens, heat it to + 60˚C. You can use for this heating radiators, hot water, the top cover of the car, etc. Allow the composition to cool slightly and it will restore its original properties.
