Glue-cold welding on oily surfaces

Glue on oily surfaces is designed for quick and reliable bonding, repair of parts, sealing of joints and containers, the surface of which is difficult or impossible to clean from oil contamination. It is also used to recover lost fragments of products from ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, ceramics, wood, operating at temperatures from -60 ºС to +150 ºС.

Provides reliable repair on wet and oily surfaces, at low temperatures (up to -10 ° C, provided that the mixture is mixed in a warm room).

Mode of application:
The glued surfaces clean of dirt and rust, clean with sandpaper, degrease and dry. Cut the part of the rod necessary for volume and carefully mix both components with your fingers (you can wet) to obtain a uniform color of the mass. Apply the resulting mixture to the surface to be repaired and, if possible, squeeze and fix for 15 minutes. When used on wet or oily surfaces, the mixture must be smoothed back and forth until it sticks to the surface (the bond strength is reduced by 20-25%). If it is necessary to repair at low temperatures, it is recommended to roll the ball from a thoroughly mixed composition and hold it in your hands until it warms up to 40 - 50 ° C (but not more than 4 minutes from the beginning of stirring), then apply to the repaired area. To smooth the surface and give it the necessary shape, use flat objects moistened with water.

ATTENTION! The pot life of the mixture is 5-7 minutes. at 20 ° C. Under conditions that ensure the removal of heat (thin layer, low temperature, etc.), the pot life increases, when heated, it decreases. The composition "sets" in 15 minutes at 20 ° C. At this time, mutual fixation of the connected parts is necessary. After 1-1.5 hours, the connection can be machined and loaded.
