SWEET JOE PYE WEED.American native wildflower. Attracts all kinds of butterflies and Bees. A tall good looking plant. Pretty much carefree after established. Lots of 8"clusters of tiny pink flowers at the top of the plant.Blooms all summer into fall with a strong vanilla scent. Perennial. JOE PYE has a very Long life span(10 years+) once the root system becomes established, they can be divided after 3rd year and beyond. JOE PYE will spread through reseeding and a extensive rhizomes root system. After the growing season is over cut JOE PYE down to the ground, and in spring new plants will pop up from the rootball and start growing. Grows fast and gets very tall in full sun or P.sun with steady water. JOE PYE is hard to find in the wild anymore, but usually grows by a river.
