Carnation "Chabaud Mix" blooms from early spring through late summer with large, 3" double flowers in shades of pink, red, white, violet, yellow, salmon, orange and bicolors. The frilly flowers have a clove fragrance and are edible. Canrations tolerate heat, drought and poor soil. The blue-green foliage is quite attractive. The flowers are great for cutting."Chabaud Mix" is a short-lived perennial. Also known as Carnation Mix, Chabaud Double Mixed, and Wild Carnations. Hardy in zones 6-10. Annual in all others.
