Vintage 1992 American Dreams Porcelain Dolls Collection Ellis Island 1892-1992 Natasia from Russia with built-in music box plays "Lara's Theme from Dr. Zhivago (1965)" Heritage Mint, Ltd. HM-113. Registry No.: 1158.
Doll in box measures 16 1/2 inches.
Complete, new in plastic in box with all paperwork:
*Tag clasped to left hand
*Tag for music box key on back of doll
*Russia informational booklet
Box shows some wear.
Music box was tested once and plays as advertised. These dolls were limited edition – the individual Registry No. appears on the back of the doll's neck – and all the original molds were destroyed on December 31, 1992, shortly after the 100 year celebration and rededication of historic Ellis Island in New York.
Original retail value was $90. Photo of original American Dreams ad is there for informational purposes. In this case the ad comes with this doll as a bonus.
