Our method of inducing pops & crackles replicates what other manufacturers use in OEM calibrations, which has the added benefit of valve cooling, preventing warping. Due to the relationship to torque demand, the pops & crackles map can produce a slightly (milliseconds) throttle delay at certain load values. "I took the car for a proper hard run.
