This is a vintage brass pencil sharpener from DUX. It comes in a small brown leather case with a snap-button closure. The sharpener measures slightly over 1.25" long. There is a screw to adjust the length of the lead to 3 different settings. It is marked "DUX GERMANY" on the bottom.
The sharpener has some age patina and the blade has a small amount of rust.
