Enid Blyton’s Happy Story Book is for sale. Enid Blyton is the author of the Noddy and the Famous Five series of books.  This vintage Enid Blyton’s Happy Story Book is the first edition second impression published by Hodder and Stoughton in 1949 and comes with its rare dust jacket.

The Enid Blyton’s Happy Story Book dust jacket is in Good condition being mostly complete, with a closed tear to the bottom front corner and spine and slight mark over the “ID” in Enid, with other small tears, creases and light marks to the back.

The Enid Blyton’s Happy Story Book original publisher’s decorated blue boards has silver lettering and an illustration of a jack-in-the-box to the front board, silver lettering to the spine, and a plain back board.  The Enid Blyton’s Happy Story Book binding is Very Good condition.


The Enid Blyton’s Happy Story Book has 160 numbered pages containing some really lovely black and white illustrations which are in overall Very Good condition with light foxing throughout, which are mainly to the edges but also to the body of the pages, being light where present.
