Indication:
Rowachol capsules contain a mixture of terpene compounds produced by plants, in an olive oil base. The capsules help dissolve or break-up gallstones.
Gallstones form when there is too much cholesterol in the bile. Bile is a substance produced by the liver to aid the digestion of fat. It is stored in the gall bladder.
Rowachol capsules increase the solubility of cholesterol in the bile, which helps to dissolve gallstones.
Rowachol capsules also reduce the production of cholesterol by the liver. Lowering the levels of cholesterol in the bile may help existing gallstones to dissolve and prevent further stones from forming.
Rowachol capsules also increase bile production and relax the bile ducts. This helps reduce painful spasms of the bile ducts. It also makes it easier for any gallstones present to be passed out with the bile.
Composition
Each Capsule contains; Menthol 32 mg Menthone 6 mg Alpha Pinene 13.6 mg Beta Pinene 3.4 mg Borneol 5 mg Camphene 5 mg Cineol 2 mg Olive Oil q.s. add to 100 mg
Dosage & Administration
For oral administration only.
Adult Dose: 1-2 capsules three times daily, taken before meals. A dose of one capsule three times daily is recommended at the start of treatment.
Children: There Is no recommended dose for children.
