The New Machiavelli contains four H.G. Wells stories that includes The Making of a Man, Margaret, The Heart of Politics, and Isabel.

The New Machiavelli is in the original red cloth binding with white lettering to the front board and gilt lettering to the spine.  The binding is in Very Good condition being slightly faded, more prominently faded to the spine, but the gilt title is still readable.

The New Machiavelli has 528 numbered pages with the top edge tinted red that has the Half Title Page, a one page advertisement opposite the Title Page which has the date of 1911 in Roman numerals, a Contents Page and an additional 16 pages of advertisements to the end of the book. The pages are in overall Very Good condition with browning to the blank front free end paper, and an Ex-libris bookplate to the front pastedown.

The New Machiavelli is a very attractive and collectable early H.G. Wells first edition book that will make a great addition to an H.G. Wells book collection or to any collection of modern first edition books.
