The one and Only Masterpiece, Handmade parang naga Patimura design by Javasmith Indonesia.

One of the famous Indonesian heroes that knownly are described as using parang is Kapitan Pattimura. was an Ambonese soldier and National Hero of Indonesia.

Born on the island of Saparua, Pattimura joined the British army after they took the Maluku islands from the Dutch colonials. When the islands were returned to the Dutch in 1816, he was dismissed.

Concerned that the Dutch would implement programs that limited his people, Pattimura led an armed rebellion that captured Fort Duurstede on 16 May 1817. Killing the inhabitants of the fortress and fighting off Dutch reinforcements, on 29 May he was declared the leader of the Maluku people.

Pattimura has become a symbol of both Maluku and Indonesian independence, praised by President Sukarno and declared a national hero by President Suharto.

A dragon is a mythical creature, typically scaled, fire-spewing and with serpentine, reptilian or avian traits, that features in the myths of many cultures around world.
Indonesian word of Dragon are Naga.

In many Asian cultures, dragons were, and in some cultures still are, revered as representative of the primal forces of nature, religion, and the universe. They are associated with wisdom—often said to be wiser than humans—and longevity. They are commonly said to possess some form of magic or other supernatural power, and are often associated with wells, rain, and rivers.
The hero kapitan Pattimura with his sacrifices for his people, heroic act and patriotism and also the mighty of the mythical beast of dragon are both being used as an inspiration on Javasmith very own Parang Naga
Handmade Damascus / Udan Mas Pattern. The pattern of rains that is drizzling to the surface of the river that gives the wave effect on the water. The pattern are symbolizing the life with it’s every bumps along the way but still striving and moving forward.
