VERY GOOD Condition Deluxe Hardcover. This book has slight wear to book corners, tiny stain on corner of rep, & small repaired gutter split. Pages & Binding are NICE & TIGHT! Sorry the scan doesn't show how nice & SHINY the GOLD design is, but my scanner doesn't scan shiny materials well. This listing is only for the RED book called "Manhattan Transfer".
A GREAT copy of a classic.
In this book, the author tells the story of everyday life in New York during the 1920's. We follow the lives of a newspaper boy with desperate dreams, an office clerk who loses himself writing novels, a beautiful model and an ancient museum curator who dreams of finding an African diamond. These lives seem to be unconnected, but they will coincide dramatically at the end of the book.
