Pinocchio The Tale of a Puppet by C. Collodi is for sale. Pinocchio The Tale of a Puppet was the original children’s story that was made into an animation film by Walt Disney in 1940. This book was first published by J. M. Dent & Sons in this form in 1951, and this is the first reprint from 1957. This book measures 6 x 8 inches (approximately) and has beautiful one-page and smaller black and white illustrations, and 8 large one-page colour illustrations by Charles Folkard.

The original green and cream decorated cloth binding has red lettering to the front board and spine and is in Very Good + condition with only very slight corner knocks, knocks to the top and bottom of the spine, and slight shelf lean.

There are 214 numbered pages, with decorated endpapers to the front and back of the book, one page advertisement to the front of the book, and numerous black and white and 8 colour illustrations to tell the Pinocchio story throughout this beautiful and collectable book. The pages are in overall Very Good + condition with an inscription to the front pastedown, very light and occasional marks, with the vast majority of pages being very clean.
