Arthur Rackham A Dish of Apples is for sale. The very collectable children’s illustrated book was written by Eden Phillpotts. This is the Arthur Rackham first edition book published in 1921 by Hodder and Stoughton in London. A Dish of Apples is in the original rose-grey cloth with a lovely Arthur Rackham illustration to the front board of a lady carrying a large basket of apples on her head in an apple orchard.
The binding is in Very Good condition with only slight corner knocks and knocks to the top and bottom of the spine. These are a very attractive set of boards.
There are 75 numbered pages with 3 Arthur Rackham colour mounted plate illustrations correct and present as per the list to the front of the book, and 23 Arthur Rackham black and white illustrations. The pages are in Very Good condition with only slight age toning to the margins.
