Charles Dickens The Life and Adventures of Martin Chuzzlewit with a frontispiece by Frank Stone and dated to the Title Page 1850 in Roman numerals is for sale. This book was published by Chapman and Hal and measures 5 x 7½ inches (approximately).
The green cloth binding has a leather spine and corners; with a red label to the spine and gilt lettering and gilt compartments. The binding is in Very Good condition being very attractive but with wear to the cloth and leather.
There are 496 numbered pages, top edges tinted brown, that are in overall Very Good condition with only light age toning.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a very attractive and collectable Charles Dickens book that does have a tobacco odour and may require airing.
